Finance Minister Petrit Malaj said economic growth has increased financial support for citizens. He referred to state budget figures for the first 7 months of the year.
During this period, the government spent ALL 841 million more than a year earlier on economic assistance, people with disabilities and their caregivers. Malaj said the government also provided ALL 576 million more for former political persecuted people.
In addition, the government allocated ALL 300 million more for birth bonuses. Malaj said the figures show increased support across several areas.
The minister said economic growth should also improve citizens’ daily lives. He highlighted greater support for families facing difficulties, people with disabilities and other groups most in need.
