Albanian Folk Ensemble to Bring Traditional Music and Dance to Four Italian Cities

The National Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances will travel to Italy for an artistic tour across four cities. The ensemble will present Albanian songs, dances, traditional costumes and cultural heritage to Albanian and Italian audiences.

The tour will run from September 19 to 22. It will visit Brescia, Turin, Pordenone and Rovereto.

The ensemble has prepared a program centered on traditional music and dance. Through the performances, the artists will showcase the diversity and richness of Albanian folklore.

The tour will open in Brescia on September 19. The artists will then perform in Turin on September 20 and Pordenone on September 21. The final performance will take place in Rovereto on September 22.

Meanwhile, the performances will give Albania’s community in Italy an opportunity to reconnect with its culture and traditions. Traditional songs, dances, costumes and music passed down through generations will bring the country’s cultural identity to Italian stages.

The tour will also promote Albanian cultural heritage abroad. It will highlight the role of art in strengthening ties between Albania and its communities in the diaspora.

For many Albanians living far from their homeland, the ensemble’s performances will offer a connection with their roots, memories and cultural identity.

Across four cities and four evenings, the ensemble will bring the sounds, rhythms and colors of Albanian tradition to Italy, turning the tour into a celebration of Albanian culture and identity.
