Defense cooperation and regional security issues were at the center of meetings held during the 2026 US-Adriatic Charter Conference of Chiefs of Defense in Zadar, Croatia.
The US Embassy in Tirana said that US General Alexus Grynkewich, commander of the US European Command (USEUCOM) and Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), met with Lieutenant General Arben Kingji and other senior military officials attending the conference.
The meeting took place as part of the Adriatic Charter Chiefs of Defense Conference. The event aims to strengthen defense cooperation and coordination among participating countries and their partners.
Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Tirana shared images from the meeting on social media. It highlighted the participation of General Grynkewich and Lieutenant General Kingji in the high-level international military event.
The Adriatic Charter Conference is taking place in Zadar, Croatia. Defense leaders and military representatives from countries across the region and the United States are attending the event.
