EU Ambassador to Albania Sofia Moreira de Sousa met today with Justice Minister Toni Gogu to discuss justice reform and Albania’s priorities in the European integration process.
Moreira de Sousa stressed the importance of strengthening public trust in the justice system. She described it as essential to Albania’s future in the European Union.
“Public trust in the justice system is essential to Albania’s future in the EU,” Moreira de Sousa said.
According to the ambassador, the meeting also focused on the consistent implementation of justice reform. The two sides discussed the need to maintain a strong focus on Albania’s EU membership priorities.
“I look forward to working together to support further progress,” the EU ambassador said.
