Albanian farmers produced approximately 9.7 million tons of agricultural products in 2025. According to INSTAT, vegetables led overall production with 1.4 million tons, marking a 1.5% annual increase. Fier, Tirana and Berat accounted for around 62% of total vegetable output.
Cereals also represented a significant share of agricultural production, reaching approximately 624,000 tons. The highest production was recorded in Fier County with 144,000 tons, followed by Elbasan and Korça.
However, cereal production declined significantly compared to the previous year, falling by nearly 25,900 tons.
Meanwhile, the production of medicinal plants increased by 10% year-on-year, while potato production dropped by 7%.
As for fruit cultivation, Albania produced 253,000 tons of fruit in 2025, with the highest levels of production recorded in Korça, Elbasan and Fier.
Olive production reached 143,300 tons in 2025, representing a 2.3% decrease compared to 2024. The counties of Fier, Elbasan, Berat and Vlora accounted for 83.2% of the country’s total olive production, remaining Albania’s main olive-growing regions.
The country also produced 60,000 tons of citrus fruits, with 60% of total output coming from Vlora County alone.
