Albania and Indonesia have strengthened economic cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on labour mobility. Economy and Innovation Minister Delina Ibrahimaj and Indonesia’s Minister for Migrant Worker Protection Mukhtarudin signed the agreement in Jakarta.
The memorandum creates a framework for safe, regular and sustainable employment opportunities. It also aims to address Albania’s growing demand for workers.
Furthermore, the agreement will support key sectors such as tourism, hospitality, manufacturing and construction. The two countries will develop cooperation mechanisms to manage labour mobility and protect workers’ rights.
According to Ibrahimaj, the agreement represents another step in expanding Albania’s international partnerships.
It will help promote legal employment opportunities and support economic growth through stronger cooperation between the two countries.
