Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha met Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca in Tirana during the fourth Albanian Diaspora Summit.
Both leaders emphasized stronger cooperation between Albania and Kosovo. They highlighted the Albanian diaspora as a key asset for national development.
Hoxha said the diaspora connects the nation with the world and drives economic and social growth. He said Albania and Kosovo will deepen cooperation in economy, infrastructure, energy, education, culture, defense, and security.
He called for full implementation of all joint agreements and commitments. He urged close coordination on all issues of national interest.
Hoxha stressed that Albania strongly supports Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration. He called for faster progress toward EU membership and other international institutions.
Konjufca said the meeting was friendly and productive. He discussed Kosovo’s European integration process and international membership goals.
He said Albania and Kosovo represent the same national interest. He emphasized that both countries should act together in foreign policy.
