The State Police of Albania strengthened its cooperation with Spain in the fight against international crime. The Director General of the State Police State Police of Albania met with the Spanish ambassador Ventura at the Directorate General of State Police in Tirana.
First, both sides praised the strong and strategic partnership built over the years. Then, they highlighted joint tools such as Operation “Nomada” and the Joint Investigation Team, which have produced concrete results against drug trafficking, arms smuggling, and illegal migration.
Moreover, the Albanian Police confirmed its commitment to deepen cooperation. As a result, it will increase joint operations and expand real-time information sharing between the two countries.
In addition, the two sides focused on cooperation between the Security Academy in Albania and the National Police School of Spain. Therefore, they aim to modernize training methods and improve the professional preparation of new police officers.
Finally, the Spanish ambassador welcomed the progress and praised the Albanian State Police as a reliable partner. At the same time, Spain confirmed its readiness to further strengthen cooperation to fight international crime and improve public safety.
