Albania has condemned the latest attack by the Houthi group against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in casualties, expressing solidarity with the Saudi people and authorities.
The statement was made by Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha in a post on the social media platform X. He described the attack as unacceptable and warned of the consequences that repeated actions by Houthi rebels have for regional security and stability.
“Albania condemns in the strongest possible terms the latest deadly attack by the Houthi group against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Hoxha wrote.
Albania’s top diplomat stressed that repeated attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels pose a direct threat to regional stability, endanger civilian lives and undermine efforts to achieve peace and security.
Hoxha also emphasized that attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure cannot be justified, calling for those responsible to be held accountable.
Concluding his statement, the minister expressed condolences to the families of the victims and reaffirmed Albania’s solidarity with the people and authorities of Saudi Arabia.
