Albania Condemns Naval Blockade Threats Against Saudi Arabia

Albania strongly condemned the Houthi militia today over its threats against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which include imposing a naval blockade.

In a social media statement, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEPJ) warned that these provocative and escalatory actions further destabilize the region.

According to the Ministry, these actions threaten freedom of navigation and maritime security in the Red Sea, while actively undermining international efforts to bring peace and stability to Yemen.

“Albania stands firmly alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its regional partners to confront threats against regional security and international navigation. We remain committed to supporting international efforts that promote peace, stability, and security in the region,” the Ministry stated.
