Albania, Czech Republic reaffirm commitment to EU integration

Ferit Hoxha met with the Special Envoy of the Czech Republic for the Western Balkans, Edita Hrda. The meeting focused on EU enlargement in the region.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to the enlargement process of the European Union in the Western Balkans. They described it as a strategic investment for peace, stability, and prosperity.

Hoxha said the meeting was a valuable exchange with a long-time colleague. He underlined that Albania remains firmly on its EU path. He also highlighted tangible progress and a strong pace of reforms.

He praised the continued support of the Czech Republic for a credible, merit-based enlargement process. He also stressed the importance of keeping the Western Balkans high on the EU agenda.
