Albania dominated San Marino in their second Group C1 match of the UEFA Nations League. The Red and Blacks needed less than 27 minutes to take control at the San Marino Stadium.
Anis Mehmeti opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Just five minutes later, Myrto Uzuni doubled Albania’s lead.
Meanwhile, coach Rolando Maran started with an attacking 4-3-3 formation. Rey Manaj led the attack, with Uzuni and Mehmeti supporting him.
In midfield, Kristjan Asllani, Klaus Gjasula and Ernest Muçi controlled Albania’s attacking moves. They also helped the team in defence when needed.
In defence, Mario Mitaj returned on the left. Samuele Sina made his debut on the right, replacing Elseid Hysaj. Berat Ismajli and Berat Gjimshiti formed the central defensive partnership.
In goal, Alen Sherri replaced Etrit Berisha in the starting lineup. He faced very little pressure throughout the first half.
