Albania Marks American Week with Cultural and Historical Exhibition

The American Week opens a new cultural highlight in Tirana with the “Founding Fathers” exhibition at the National Library of Albania. The exhibition showcases portraits and biographies of 13 signers of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.

It marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn opens the event and highlights shared values between the two countries.

She says the exhibition celebrates freedom, leadership, and cooperation. The display presents key moments in the creation of the United States. It also highlights historic cities such as Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.

Organizers invite visitors to explore the exhibition through an interactive virtual reality experience.
