Albania to participate in World Urban Forum in Baku

Albania participates in the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku, organized by UN-Habitat.

Ervin Demo meets Azerbaijani Ambassador Anar Huseynov in Tirana to prepare Albania’s participation.

Demo says Albania strengthens its voice on housing, urban development, and local governance. He says the country uses the forum to promote sustainable and inclusive cities.

He highlights global challenges such as housing shortages, rapid urbanization, and climate change impacts. He also says Albania engages in international cooperation and exchanges best practices.

The forum brings together over 20,000 participants from more than 160 countries and includes governments, experts, and institutions working on urban development.
