TIRANA, April 22 – The Military Meteorological Service said Albania will face unstable weather on Wednesday. The country will experience cloudy conditions and intermittent light rain in most areas.
Rainfall may intensify locally in the south and east. Short periods of moderate showers are expected. In mountain areas, thunderstorms may occur with lightning and hail.
Snow is forecast in the Albanian Alps. It will also occur in higher elevations in the northeast and southeast above 1,200–1,400 metres.
Winds will blow from the north at around 7 m/s. They will reach up to 17 m/s in valleys, coastal areas, and mountains. Sea conditions will range between force 2 and 4.
