Albania U19 Come from Behind to Defeat Lithuania U19

Albania U19 secured a second consecutive victory over Lithuania U19, coming from behind to win 2-1 in a friendly match at the Vora Stadium.

Lithuania took the lead in the first half, scoring from one of their few chances of the game. However, Albania responded strongly after the break and controlled much of the second half.

Elson Himallari led the comeback by scoring twice within a few minutes, turning the match in Albania’s favor. The Partizani midfielder delivered an outstanding performance and played a decisive role in securing the victory.

Head coach Fatjon Tafaj also gave playing time to several squad members during the second half as Albania maintained its momentum and protected the lead until the final whistle.

As a result, Albania U19 finished the training camp with two victories after defeating Lithuania U19 in both matches played in Vora. Meanwhile, Tafaj received encouraging performances from a group of players expected to form the core of the team ahead of upcoming official competitions.
