Albania women’s team targets strong start against Wales in 2027 World Cup qualifiers

TIRANA, April 9 – Albania’s women’s national team continued preparations for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers. The team held its latest training session at the “House of Football.”

Albania will face Wales on April 14 at 20:15 at “Stok Cae Ras” stadium. Players are following an intensive training program ahead of the match.

Goalkeeper Rajmonda Spahiu said the squad is in good physical condition. She described the atmosphere as positive and focused. She called Wales a strong opponent and said the team aims for a positive result. She added that the coaching staff has provided detailed analysis of the opponent.

Forward Fortesa Berisha, who plays for Como in Italy, also expressed confidence. She said preparations are going well and the team has studied Wales carefully. She stressed that the squad will aim to apply the coach’s instructions on the pitch.

Albania enters the match with the goal of delivering its best performance against a challenging opponent.
