The Agricultural University of Tirana signed a cooperation agreement with the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences to strengthen academic and scientific ties.
The agreement focuses on research, academic exchanges and institutional development.
UBT Rector Fatbardh Sallaku and MATE Rector Csaba Gyuricza signed the memorandum in Tirana.
Martina Kasnyik also attended the ceremony.
Sallaku described the agreement as an important step toward the internationalization of the university. He said the partnership creates new opportunities for students and academic staff in research and innovation.
Gyuricza highlighted the importance of joint projects in agriculture and life sciences.
The agreement includes student and professor exchanges, joint research projects, conferences and training programs. It also supports joint supervision of academic studies at all levels.
Ambassador Kasnyik praised the partnership and called it a strong example of academic cooperation between Albania and Hungary.
