TIRANA, August 10 – The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) has launched a national information and promotion campaign for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). AIDA is working with 10 municipalities and the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) on the campaign.
The initiative will provide businesses with information on financing opportunities, exports, EU standards, taxes and VAT. It will also cover participation in international fairs and events. Through information sessions with municipalities and AIC, SMEs will gain direct access to support programmes. They will also receive international promotion opportunities through the Kompass platform and information on new opportunities for business growth and development.
The campaign will run in 2 rounds. From September to December 2026, activities will take place in Durrës, Elbasan, Fier, Vlora and Gjirokastër. From January to April 2027, AIDA will continue the campaign in Korça, Berat, Kukës, Lezha and Shkodër.
The #aidaXbashkitë initiative brings together AIDA, AIC, the EEN Albania project and the municipalities. It aims to strengthen links between institutions and the business community. The campaign also seeks to give SMEs more opportunities to grow, improve their competitiveness and reach international markets.
