Albanian National Olympic Committee chief presents Tirana Olympic City project to global sports adviser

TIRANA, July 17 – Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH) President Fidel Ylli presented the “Tirana Olympic City” project during an official meeting with Olympic judge and global sports investment adviser Eng. Almohanad Alzooaabe. Ylli described the project as one of Albania’s most ambitious initiatives for developing sports infrastructure. He said the complex aims to create a modern sports centre that meets international standards and serves athletes, sports federations and major international events.

Meanwhile, Ylli said the project will strengthen Albania’s position on the regional sports map. He added that it will create new opportunities for sports development and economic growth through strategic investment. In addition, the participants discussed modern sports investment models, advanced infrastructure, public-private partnerships and opportunities to attract investment that supports Albanian sport. The meeting also included Erion Keri, president of Arcon Studio, the company designing “Tirana Olympic City” and a partner of the Albanian National Olympic Committee. Keri presented the company’s contribution to the project.

Finally, the participants exchanged views on sports governance, organisational development and long-term partnerships. They said such cooperation can support initiatives that create lasting value for Albanian sport.
