RTSH has officially begun implementing its 2026–2030 transformation and restructuring process. The Task Force established to lead and coordinate the process held its first meeting today.
The European Broadcasting Union organized the meeting as a workshop focused on RTSH’s Transformation Strategy and its implementation. Radka Betcheva, the European Broadcasting Union’s Head of Member Relations for Central and Eastern Europe, and Natalia Beregoi, a transformation consultancy manager at the union, took part. They provided expertise, assistance and support to RTSH throughout the process.
The Task Force has 14 members. Eleven represent different areas within RTSH, while three are external experts. The group will coordinate, monitor and follow implementation of the 2026–2030 Transformation Strategy.
Meanwhile, the Task Force will prepare a work plan and implementation calendar. It will coordinate the process across RTSH’s structures and monitor progress toward targets and deadlines. It will also identify problems and propose corrective measures.
In addition, the group will review the legal, bylaw, statutory and regulatory framework. It will identify provisions requiring changes and coordinate the preparation of the necessary documents, procedures, draft regulations and draft decisions. The process will include periodic reports, followed by a final report on implementation.
With the Task Force now established and its first meeting held with European Broadcasting Union experts, the 2026–2030 Transformation Strategy has entered its implementation phase, with particular focus on monitoring reforms at RTSH.
