Albanian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra presents classical evening with works by Haydn and Beethoven

TIRANA, April 22 – The Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH) Symphony Orchestra will perform a special classical music evening featuring works by Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven. The concert brings together solo performance and orchestral interpretation under international direction.

The programme includes Joseph Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in C major and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral”. The selection highlights two major works of the classical repertoire known for their contrast in elegance and expressive depth.

Cellist Igert Zeqiri performs as soloist in collaboration with conductor Facundo Agudini. Zeqiri described the collaboration with the RTSH Symphony Orchestra as a significant artistic experience and highlighted the interpretative character of Haydn’s concerto.

The concert takes place on Friday, 24 April, at 19:00 at the Orthodox Cathedral Cultural Centre. Organisers say the evening aims to offer audiences an immersive classical music experience through a carefully structured programme.
