Klodjan Braho, head of Albania’s Special Structure against Corruption and Organised Crime (SPAK), met European Commissioner Michael McGrath on Thursday. McGrath is responsible for democracy, justice, the rule of law and consumer protection.
The talks covered the Code of Criminal Procedure, political rhetoric towards the anti-corruption structure and continued cooperation with the EU. Meanwhile, McGrath’s official visit to Albania focuses on justice and rule-of-law reforms.
A day earlier, McGrath also met Justice Minister Toni Gogu.
