The Municipality of Tirana has opened applications for housing support through soft loans. In the first phase, which lasts until May 19, interested individuals must apply through the e-Albania platform.

The Municipality of Tirana has launched the call for soft loans for the year 2026, defining the criteria, deadlines, and income levels for citizens who aim to benefit from social housing schemes.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 19, while the municipality has also updated the loan limits for each family structure. Applications are made through the service “Request to benefit from social housing programs” on e-Albania, where the applicant must select the preferred type of support, including the low-cost housing program.

The basic eligibility criteria require that the applicant be over 18 years old, that the family does not own a home, lives in conditions below housing standards, and has income within the defined limits. For a single individual applying for a studio apartment, the maximum income level is 83,200 ALL, while the maximum loan amount reaches 5,860,000 ALL.

For two-person families applying for one-bedroom apartments (1+1), the maximum income is 111,200 ALL and the loan can go up to 7,170,000 ALL. For families of 3–4 members aiming for a two-bedroom apartment (2+1), the maximum income limit is 148,000 ALL and the loan can reach up to 10,600,000 ALL.
