Arbëresh Museum Planned in Vuno to Preserve Cultural Heritage

The planned Arbëresh Museum in Vuno aims to preserve historical memory and cultural heritage.

The museum will focus on the history of the Arbëresh community and their migration to Italy. The project was presented by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports in cooperation with the Municipality of Himara and the design studio.

Minister Blendi Gonxhja said the project will create a modern museum space dedicated to Arbëresh history and identity. He said it will also highlight the cultural legacy preserved by the Arbëresh community over centuries.

The presentation brought together cultural experts, institutions, local actors and citizens. The project is expected to support education, cultural development and tourism in the area.

Gonxhja said the museum will become a reference point for Albanian identity and cultural history. He added that it will connect historical heritage with future generations through a modern cultural space.
