Archbishop Joan Urges Wise Decisions in the Service of Albania

Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania Joan has called on decision-makers to make wise and mature choices in the interests of the country and all its citizens.

Speaking at the end of the Divine Liturgy, Joan stressed that Albania belongs to all its citizens and that everyone has the right to contribute to its development.

“We pray that God enlightens all those responsible for making decisions, so they can make wise and mature choices in the service of the entire country. Albania belongs to everyone. All those who live here are part of it, and everyone has the right to take part in building it,” he said.

The Archbishop also expressed hope that prayers for sound decision-making would be heard. He underlined the importance of responsibility when making choices that shape the country’s future.

“We therefore pray to the Lord to enlighten people’s minds so they can make the right decisions. We hope God will hear the prayers of the righteous,” Joan added.
