The first weekend of August has brought a surge of visitors to Vlora, with the city’s beaches packed with both domestic and international tourists enjoying the peak of the summer season.
The start of the month has seen a significant influx of holidaymakers, many of whom have chosen the Albanian Riviera to escape the intense summer heat.
Temperatures, which reached as high as 40°C over the weekend, drove thousands of people to the coast in search of relief. Not only were the beaches crowded, but the city itself also experienced heavy foot traffic, with the seaside promenade, cafés, restaurants, and local businesses bustling throughout the day.
August is expected to be the busiest month of the tourist season in Vlora, once again confirming the coastal city as one of Albania’s most popular summer destinations.
