Balla and Hoxhaj discuss Kosovo justice, EU integration, and regional security

Socialist Party parliamentary group leader Taulant Balla meets with Kosovo MP and former Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj at the Albanian Parliament to discuss key regional issues.

During the meeting, Balla and Hoxhaj address the legal proceedings against former Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) leaders in The Hague, emphasizing the importance of a fair trial based on evidence and international standards.

Moreover, they discuss Albania’s European Union integration process and Kosovo’s efforts to advance toward EU candidate status.

In addition, the two officials focus on regional security challenges, including risks from foreign malign influence, and call for stronger cooperation among Western Balkan countries within NATO and other partnerships.

The meeting highlights the importance of coordination between Albania and Kosovo on European integration, justice, and regional stability.
