Balla hosts Lipjan students in Parliament: Proud of UÇK’s liberation war and sacrifice for freedom

Taulant Balla, head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, welcomes students and teachers from the “Mehmet Akif” school in Lipjan, Kosovo, to the Albanian Parliament. The group visits Tirana on a friendly and educational trip.

Balla highlights the strong ties between Albania and Kosovo. He stresses the importance of national identity, history, and the sacrifices made for freedom.

He says Albanians are proud of the Kosovo Liberation Army. He calls its war a just struggle for freedom and national dignity.

“Today we are all proud of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which fought a just liberation war, because the right to freedom stands at its core,” Balla says.

He also comments on the trials of former KLA leaders. He says the accusations are unfair and based on unproven claims. He adds that Kosovo’s war history cannot be erased.

The visit takes place in a warm and patriotic atmosphere. It delivers messages of unity and respect for shared national history.
