Balla Meets VanHorn: Albania–US Cooperation at Excellent Level

Chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group Taulant Balla held a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Tirana Nancy VanHorn.

He said cooperation between Albania and the United States remains at an excellent level across all bilateral areas. He also highlighted collaboration within shared international organizations.

Furthermore, Balla noted that the United States is marking 250 years of independence. At the same time, he said Albania and the US are celebrating 104 years of diplomatic relations.

He described the meeting with VanHorn as constructive and productive. He emphasized continued strong dialogue between the two sides. In addition, Balla stressed the importance of the strategic partnership. He said it supports the rule of law and market economy principles.

Moreover, he underlined efforts to strengthen American investment and economic ties in Albania.

In conclusion, he reaffirmed that cooperation with the United States remains a key pillar of Albania’s foreign policy.
