Durrës turned into a seaside sports arena as the first day of the Beach Volleyball event brought excitement to the “Taulantia” promenade.
Teams competed in an energetic atmosphere. Meanwhile, spectators followed the matches closely and enjoyed the action by the sea.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage from the event on social media. He said the first day of Beach Volleyball Durrës created a fantastic atmosphere along the “Taulantia” promenade.
“Beach volleyball brought beautiful moments for sports fans and turned the Durrës coastline into a real sports arena,” Rama said.
The Municipality of Durrës organized the event with the support of the “Teuta” Multisport Club and the “Teuta” Volleyball Association.
The event aims to promote sport and an active lifestyle. In addition, it brings sports fans and holidaymakers together at the “Taulantia” promenade during the final days of the summer season.
As a result, Durrës continues to combine its seaside setting with sports and outdoor activities, creating a lively atmosphere for both residents and visitors.
