Begaj Pledges Albania’s Support for Albanians in the Presheva Valley

President Bajram Begaj visited the Presheva Valley, where he met with local leaders, including municipal mayors Ardita Sinani and Arbër Bajaziti, the only Albanian member of Serbia’s Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, and the head of the Albanian National Council, Enkel Rexhepi.

The meetings focused on the concerns of Albanians in the Presheva Valley. Participants also discussed strengthening political unity and supporting projects for local youth.

Begaj encouraged Albanian political leaders to stand together whenever national interests and the rights of Albanians in the region are at stake.

Furthermore, the President reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to addressing the issues facing the Presheva Valley.

“As President of the Republic of Albania, I guaranteed Albania’s support for addressing the Presheva Valley issue, ensuring fair representation in institutions, raising concerns over address deactivation, and protecting the right to use the Albanian language and national symbols,” Begaj said.

Finally, Begaj pledged to continue advocating for the rights of Albanians in the Presheva Valley in international institutions and diplomatic forums.
