Berisha: Tearing Down the Israeli Flag Is a Criminal Act, the Perpetrator Must Be Punished

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, described the tearing down of the Israeli flag as a criminal act and called for the perpetrator to be punished.

In a post on Facebook, Berisha stated that the act was “an extremist, anti-Semitic criminal act that goes against the traditional sentiments and ties that unite our two nations and countries.”

“The Democratic Party strongly condemns the tearing down of the Israeli flag displayed at the embassy of the State of Israel as an extremist, anti-Semitic criminal act that runs contrary to the traditional feelings and bonds that unite our two nations and our two countries. We call for the perpetrator to face the appropriate legal punishment,” Berisha wrote on social media.
