The Chief of the General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, has met with the new US Ambassador, Eric Wendt.
In a social media post, Kingji said that during the meeting, he expressed his gratitude for the United States’ continued support in the field of defence, particularly in modernising the operational and military capabilities of the Albanian Armed Forces.
“It was a pleasure to meet with the Ambassador of the United States of America, His Excellency Eric Wendt.
During the meeting, I expressed my gratitude for the continued support of our strategic partner in the field of defence, particularly in modernising the operational and military capabilities of the Armed Forces.
I emphasised our commitment to further deepening cooperation and strengthening national and collective security,” Kingji wrote.
