Egnatia has learned its six opponents for the 2026-27 Conference League league phase, marking the historic debut of the Albanian champions at this stage of the competition.
The draw, held in Monaco on Friday, determined the European journey of the Rrogozhina-based club. Egnatia will play three matches at home and three away.
At home, Egnatia will face Midtjylland of Denmark, Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar and Kauno Žalgiris of Lithuania.
Away from home, the Albanian champions will take on Braga of Portugal, Universitatea Craiova of Romania and Aarhus of Denmark.
This marks another historic moment for Egnatia. The Rrogozhina club will make its first appearance in the Conference League league phase, securing six matches against teams from across Europe.
The Conference League will use the league-phase format for the third consecutive year. A total of 36 teams will compete in a single standings table.
Each team will play six matches, three at home and three away, against different opponents. Teams from the same country cannot face each other, while each club can play a maximum of two teams from the same national association.
At the end of the league phase, the top eight teams will qualify directly for the round of 16. Teams finishing from ninth to 24th will enter the play-offs for a place in the knockout phase, while teams ranked from 25th to 36th will be eliminated.
The Conference League league phase will begin on October 15, 2026. The final is scheduled for June 2, 2027, at Beşiktaş Stadium in Istanbul.
For Egnatia, the campaign offers another major opportunity to make club history and represent Albanian football on the European stage.
