Construction Project in Zvërnec: Rama Reveals the Architect, Calling Him a “Great Artist of Nature”

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced in a Facebook post the architect who has been commissioned for the Zvërnec development project. Rama described landscape architect Dong Yugan as a “great artist of nature” and noted that he presented his vision on Thursday at the Bread&Heart Festival in Tirana.

Rama stated that the project aims to achieve a high level of harmony between development and the natural environment. According to him, the project will become a source of pride and a gift from Albania to Europe.

“HERE IS THE PERSON WHOM THE INVESTORS OF ZVËRNEC HAVE HIRED FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE. Meet the great artist of nature, landscape architect Dong Yugan, successor to the legendary Kongjian Yu and leader of the consultancy team responsible for the protected landscape component of the Zvërnec project.

Today, he presented his vision and many of the findings of his prestigious international studio before an audience that included numerous international architects at the Bread&Heart Festival in Tirana, impressing everyone with his presentation.

If you explore more of the work produced by the Turenscape studio, you will gain confidence that, thanks to this talent and the team of renowned experts assembled by the investors of the Zvërnec project, the €4 billion investment that certain forces are trying hard to prevent Albania from receiving cannot possibly have negative consequences for nature. On the contrary, it will create a level of harmony with natural development that will be a source of pride for Albania and a gift from Albania to Europe.”

Rama emphasized that the project is designed not only to protect the natural landscape of Zvërnec but also to integrate development with environmental sustainability, presenting it as a model for future projects in the region.
