Tirana hosts a full week of cultural and artistic events across theaters, galleries, and music venues.
The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania presents performances including “Carmen” and concerts by violinist Tedi Papavrami.
Exhibitions continue at several venues. The “S.T.I.L.L” exhibition by Brook Velos runs at Catalyst Institute. “Toka mban” by Kushtrim Mehmeti is open at Bazament Art Space. The Rrok Zojzi exhibition is on display at the Marubi National Museum of Photography.
The film “Zgjoi” is screened in Pogradec. The Kosovo drama tells a real story of resilience and survival. Traditional celebrations take place on May 6 in Steblevë and Shëngjergj for the Feast of St. George.
The RTSH Symphony Orchestra performs “Beethoven Tirana 2026” on May 6 at Gjon Simoni Hall. The program includes works by Beethoven, Chaminade, and Pablo Ortiz.
On May 8–9, Vlorë opens the tourism season with major coastal celebrations. Artists such as Noizy, Adelina Ismaili, Elgit Doda, and Ronela Hajati headline the event.
The week combines culture, music, exhibitions, and tourism across the country.
