TIRANA, August 25 – Dardha village in Korça remains a popular tourist destination throughout the year. Visitors come for its natural surroundings, climate and traditional character.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of the picturesque village on social media today. The photos show Dardha surrounded by green forests and visitors enjoying its fresh air and cooler temperatures. Rama described Dardha as one of Korça’s most beautiful villages, filled with tourists and visitors.
Dardha stands at an altitude of 1,344 metres, about 20 kilometres southeast of Korça. The village features traditional houses with grey stone roofs, cobbled streets and newer buildings and hotels. A local museum also presents the village’s history and heritage.
Meanwhile, new tourism investments are adding to Dardha’s appeal. The development of a ski resort in the nearby Nikolic area has strengthened the village’s potential as a major tourism destination in the Korça region.
