TIRANA, June 26 – Defence Minister Ermal Nufi held a meeting at the Support Command of the Armed Forces. He underlined the role of the structure in managing crisis situations and field operations. He shared details of the visit through social media.
Meanwhile, Nufi said that military structures must prioritise modernisation and stronger operational capacity. He said these efforts aim to improve response to public needs.
In addition, he said the focus remains on increasing logistics and infrastructure investment. He also highlighted the development of human resources. He said these measures strengthen disaster risk reduction. He added that they improve readiness and response to civil emergencies. He also referred to fire incidents and humanitarian operations as key areas of intervention.
