Defence Minister Nufi praises Albania’s NATO mission staff during Brussels visit

TIRANA, April 14 – Defence Minister Ermal Nufi met military and civilian staff of Albania’s mission to NATO in Brussels and praised their role in representing the country within the alliance. He described their work as essential for maintaining Albania’s presence in NATO structures.

During the meeting, he highlighted the staff’s professionalism and commitment. He said they demonstrate seriousness and high standards in every aspect of their work.

He added that the visit provided an opportunity to recognise daily efforts. It also helped strengthen institutional cooperation and coordination.

According to Nufi, the mission plays a key role in defence policy coordination. It also represents Albania’s interests within NATO decision-making structures.

The minister said Albania’s representation in the alliance depends on consistent engagement. He stressed that dedicated staff ensure effective communication and alignment with NATO partners.

He concluded that the mission continues to uphold Albania’s responsibilities within the alliance. He also said the team contributes to the country’s credibility in international security structures.
