TIRANA, August 7 – Defense Minister Ermal Nufi shared footage today from the firefighting operation in the Mount Dajti area and praised the commitment and sacrifice of personnel working on the ground.
Nufi said in a social media post that emergency structures and Armed Forces personnel provide protection for citizens, homes and the environment through their dedication and professional work.
He expressed gratitude to all personnel involved in fighting wildfires, especially those operating in Mount Dajti and Mallakastër, as well as in other areas where flames threaten lives, homes and property.
Meanwhile, firefighting operations continue with ground and aerial interventions. Responsible structures remain deployed across affected areas to monitor the situation and coordinate further action.
