While appreciating Greece’s support for Albania’s European integration path, Minister Nufi emphasized the promotion of regional stability and security, especially in the Western Balkans, which remains a shared strategic priority for both countries.

For his part, in a post on X, Dendias announced that the issue of the graves of Greek soldiers was also discussed during the meeting with his Albanian counterpart.

“During the meeting with my Albanian counterpart, Ermal Nufi, we agreed on the immediate convening of the Joint Committee of Experts on Military Graves. Greece consistently honors those who sacrificed themselves for the Homeland,” Dendias wrote.
