Dendias visits the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana, pays tribute at Archbishop Anastas’ grave

As part of his official visit to Albania and meetings with senior representatives of the Albanian government, Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias visited the Orthodox Cathedral of the “Resurrection of Christ,” where he was received by the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës, and All Albania, His Beatitude Archbishop Joani.

“During the visit, the Greek minister and Archbishop Joani held a meeting and conversation in a friendly atmosphere, exchanging views on issues of common interest.

Afterwards, Mr. Dendias, accompanied by Archbishop Joani, visited the grave of the late Archbishop Anastas Janullatos, where he paid tribute in honor of his legacy and contribution,” according to a statement distributed to the media.
