Diaspora Strategy 2026–2030 Focuses on Investment and National Identity

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha announces that Albania develops the National Diaspora Strategy 2026–2030 after the 4th Diaspora Summit.

He says the government finalizes the strategy and action plan through consultations with an inter-institutional working group.

The strategy promotes investment, strengthens the Albanian language and culture, and protects national identity in diaspora communities.

Hoxha says the plan improves coordination between state institutions and Albanian communities abroad. It also creates mechanisms that engage diaspora professionals and transfer skills and innovation to Albania.

The ministry opens the draft for public consultation in the coming weeks. Citizens, diaspora organizations, and experts contribute to the process.

Hoxha says Albania and its diaspora cooperate with international partners to support development and advance EU integration.
