Domi Foundation renovates sports hall at “Zyber Hallulli” Children’s Home in Tirana

Domi Foundation has transformed the sports hall at the “Zyber Hallulli” Children’s Home in Tirana into a modern, fully equipped space, giving the 40 children living at the institution a safe and welcoming environment for sports, recreation, and everyday activities.

The project included the complete renovation of the facility, the installation of new sports and recreational equipment, as well as heating and air conditioning systems. The upgraded hall now offers safe, comfortable, and year-round conditions for children to exercise, play, and spend time together.

Mr. Dervish Domi, President of Domi Foundation and President of Atlas Corporation, said the project has special personal meaning for him.

“I am grateful that we had the opportunity to support the children of the ‘Zyber Hallulli’ Children’s Home. I also grew up without my father and was raised by my mother, who made countless sacrifices while raising six children on her own. Those experiences have stayed with me throughout my life, which is why every opportunity to help children carries a special meaning for me. We will continue to stand by them in the future,” said Mr. Domi.

Ms. Valbona Imeraj, Director of the “Zyber Hallulli” Children’s Home, expressed her appreciation for the Foundation’s contribution, noting that the investment has significantly improved the conditions for sports and recreational activities.

“We sincerely thank Domi Foundation, and especially Mr. Dervish Domi, for this valuable support. The children now have a modern, safe, and fully equipped space where they can play, exercise, and spend quality time together throughout the year,” said Ms. Imeraj.

Mr. Aurel Domi, Vice President of Atlas Corporation, emphasized that the initiative reflects the Foundation’s long-term commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.

“Through Domi Foundation, we are committed to investing in projects that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. We would also be delighted to welcome the children of the ‘Zyber Hallulli’ Children’s Home to the Atlas and Ola production facilities, where they can learn more about our work and enjoy a new experience,” said Mr. Domi.

Domi Foundation is part of Atlas Corporation, whose portfolio includes Atlas Mills, Ola Foods, Besniku sh.p.k., Atlas Energy, Edil Centro, and other companies. Through the Foundation, the Group coordinates the social initiatives of its companies, bringing together resources and efforts to support individuals and communities in need across Albania.

Through this investment, Domi Foundation aims to promote children’s physical, social, and emotional well-being by providing a modern environment that encourages sports, recreation, and positive social interaction.
