“Double Your Enterprise” Program Launches on July 1, Says Ibrahimaj: €250 Million Fund Available for Businesses

Following the government meeting this Wednesday, Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj announced that the “Double Your Enterprise” program will officially launch on July 1.

According to Ibrahimaj, the program will provide financing to businesses at interest rates ranging from 2% to 3%, supported by a €250 million fund made available to enterprises across the country.

“The ‘Double Your Enterprise’ program will open its doors on July 1. Businesses from all regions of the country should become informed about and take advantage of this financing instrument, made possible through cooperation with the Bank of Albania, which has made €250 million available to the Albanian government.

Businesses will be financed at interest rates between 2% and 3%. Companies should familiarize themselves with the opportunities offered by these programs so that we can increase productivity, boost exports, and improve access to the European market. The government will continue to support businesses.

We have also revised the National Employment Strategy in order to expand the Youth Guarantee initiative, which is dedicated to young men and women seeking employment. If they do not yet possess specific skills, they will have the opportunity to receive training and acquire them.

The Hospitality Albania program is another initiative that foresees the management of government-owned facilities in Vlorë and Velipojë. The objective is to rehabilitate and utilize state assets for profit-generating purposes through partnerships with the private sector. Under no circumstances will state-owned property be transferred to private ownership,” Ibrahimaj stated.
