Driloni: A Peaceful Oasis That Attracts Tourists

Driloni Natural Park lies just 6 km from Pogradec. It ranks among Albania’s most beautiful tourist spots.

Recent investments transformed the park into an eco-tourism hub. They also increased its appeal for visitors from Korçë. The infrastructure now includes about 4,000 meters of walking paths. In addition, the park area expanded to highlight its natural beauty.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos from the park. He praised the peaceful charm of Driloni.

Driloni has three water streams. The main stream forms a large pool. Visitors can walk, ride boats, and admire the rich flora and fauna.

Paths connect Driloni’s springs to the village of Gurras and the promenade along Lake Ohrid. Willow, poplar, ash, and reed trees freshen the air. Also, ducks and other birds bring life to the scenery.

The park and Tushemisht promenade now cover 150 hectares. The project includes 13 new bridges, walking paths, bike lanes, 8,000 planted trees, and 5 km of navigable waterways.
