Visitors can explore sites such as the Roman Amphitheatre, the city’s ancient fortification walls, the Byzantine Forum, the Venetian Tower, the Roman Baths and the Basilica of Arapaj.
Other attractions include the Skanderbeg Fortification at Cape Rodon and Ishëm Castle.
The combination of beaches, heritage and cultural attractions continues to make Durrës an important destination for Albania’s tourism sector.
