TIRANA, April 24 – The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, held a phone call with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Jetten posted details of the conversation on social media platform X, describing Albania as a key strategic partner in the Western Balkans for both the Netherlands and the European Union.
He said economic ties and security cooperation between the two countries remain strong. He also discussed potential expansion of the partnership into infrastructure and tourism.
The two leaders also addressed Albania’s EU accession process. Jetten said he looks forward to meeting Rama at the EU–Western Balkans summit in June.
