The spokesperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Valmir Elezi, stated that the 11-day deadline for submitting candidate lists ends tonight at midnight. The lists are submitted through an electronic platform, and the procedure is the same as the one used in the December elections.

“Today, at 24:00, the deadline ends for political entities — political parties, coalitions, civic initiatives, and independent candidates — to submit their lists of parliamentary candidates seeking certification to participate in the June 7 elections,” he said.

A total of 27 political entities are expected to participate in the elections, including 22 political parties, 3 coalitions, 1 civic initiative, and 1 independent candidate.
